On Wednesday, 11 June 2025, Silpakorn University hosted a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony for academic cooperation with The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, USA. The event took place at the Narisaranuwattiwong Room, 4th Floor, Office of the President, Taling Chan Campus, with the aim of promoting collaboration in education, research, and student exchange programs.
The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Tanasait Ngawhirunpat, President of Silpakorn University; Dr. Parinya Roonpho, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Wootichai Lertsatakit, Dean of the Faculty of Music; Mr. Chanutr Techatananan, Deputy Dean for Academic Services and International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Poumpak Charuprakorn, Assistant Dean for Research; and Dr. Nithi Junchomchaey, Assistant Dean for Academic Services. Representing The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay was Dr. Michael Alexander, Chancellor, who also took part in the signing.
The Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, has been advancing academic collaboration with The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay since 2020. The current signing marks a five-year extension of the existing MoU, reinforcing a strong and ongoing partnership. This collaboration spans multiple areas, including student exchange programs, academic knowledge sharing, and the dissemination of scholarly work. It represents a significant step for Silpakorn University in expanding its international network and strengthening its academic system in cooperation with leading global institutions.
