On Wednesday, 22 October 2025, Silpakorn University welcomed a delegation from Musashino Art University, Japan, on the occasion of their visit to discuss potential academic collaboration at Room 510, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Taling Chan Campus.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Tanasait Ngawhirunpat, President of Silpakorn University, together with Prof. Emeritus Yanawit Kunchaethong, Former Dean of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Prof.Tinnakorn Kasornsuwan, Dean of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukumala Nithipattaraahnan, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Special Projects and Research, and Dr. Parinya Roonpho, Assistant to the President for International Affairs.
The Musashino Art University delegation was led by Prof. Sachikazu Kabayama, President of Musashino Art University, along with Prof. Toshiya Takahama, Deputy President (International Relations), Mr. Koki Okubo, Head of Administrative Staff – Center for International Relations, and Ms. Keiko Takahashi, Administrative Staff – Center for International Relations.
During the meeting, both institutions discussed various possibilities for academic collaboration, particularly student exchange programs, which would provide students from both universities with opportunities to learn, share experiences, and co-create artistic and design projects reflecting the rich cultures of Thailand and Japan.
This meeting marks another significant milestone for Silpakorn University in expanding its international network in the fields of art and design, demonstrating the University’s strong commitment to advancing internationalization.
